School's Out For Summer...

Today was the last day of school for the kids in our neck of the woods. Hannah and Preston finished with flying colors. Preston will be moving to first grade and Hannah to third, which also means she goes to Malad next year for school. She isn't excited. I've told her that she already has friends and cousins there, but it doesn't help. Change is hard. She also lost a friend to a move today. Her friend and only other third grader in her school, Susannah, moved with her mom and siblings right after school. Hannah misses her already.

Hannah got straight A's and A+'s all through school since kindergarten. She was awarded for that with other kids today.

She also got an award for best in grammar.

Preston got #1 Boy 

He was also recognized for being able to make the smallest paper airplane. That's what it's about.

They also all received books for the summer and they loved that.

Emma loves being around all the kids.

Now that school is out, we are going to have to be creative and find stuff for them to do. Otherwise, you may need to come visit me in the padded room that I will surely be living in.
