I love this time of year! I love the changing of the seasons. From winter to spring to summer to fall to winter...it's just a good feeling when the seasons change. I love fall for its beautiful colors and the crisp, cool air that is so refreshing after a blazing hot summer. I love the leaves all around, though not raking them up. Can't they just lay there and look pretty?

What about some yummy warm apple cider or wasail to warm you up after raking those leaves (I still vote to just let them be) or with a good book all cozied up?
And I'm pretty sure that there's a rule that states you must have donuts with the cider.
Trick-or-Treating was so fun! I dressed up as a Hugga Bunch (remember those dolls?), a Smurf, a cat, a dead '50s teenager, Juliet, and a Rock Star (last year) to name a few... so fun and it is fun to dress up my kids and go to the Halloween parties at the school and church. The picture below is from 2008 with Hannah Montana, Rocker Mama, Winnie the Pooh, and Alfalfa
You do need a creepy scarecrow thrown in to get the true feeling of Halloween. Happy Fall everyone!
