State Fair

We went to the South Eastern Idaho State Fair a couple weeks ago. It is in Blackfoot and it has become a family tradition. We go with Lance's parents, siblings and their spouses and children. We have such a good time...well most of us (it's very crowded and some people don't enjoy that part) and the kids absolutely love it. Only at the fair will you see this...

Crazy huh? It's made out of pop cans!

Emma had such a good time. She loved the animals most. They had this children's area that the kids liked. You'll see more of that in a minute. First, we let the kids each pick one ride to go on (ridiculous prices) and this is what Hannah chose...

So she went on it with Lance. Preston chose the train.

That's him at the kid's area roping and riding the tractor.

Hannah making a craft and playing in the kid's area.

The craziness of the fair and "Preston milking a cow". Such good times and memories. Like the funnel cakes. Oh.My.Goodness. I had always seen one but never wanted to eat about 10,000 calories at once. This time I decided to just do it. Incredible. I had one with strawberries, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream on top. Good thing I shared  the kids because I could have eaten the whole thing myself. Good times...

Ha ha ha good memories of the crazy, over crowded fair time. I am not so sure I want to go on Labor Day next year. I love Terra's face in the back of the picture of Lance I think we all felt that way. It's hard to keep everyone rounded up in the madness. But now we can look back at the fun bonding we had with the family.
