Oh. Goodness. Preston is 6 today! A big year for him. He just started kindergarten and is loving it. He's bummed when the weekend comes around. He loves when its bedtime and Sunday night, so he can go to school again. Preston and his dad are as close as ever. He was sad to start school, thinking he couldn't work on the farm with his dad anymore, until I reminded him about the weekends. He cheered right up. Nothing has changed much in his interests. For example, we let him pick out his birthday gifts and he chose a Police Station/Jail, Semi truck hauling milk with cows, and a Phineas and Ferb Nintendo DS game. He has the most contagious giggle you'll ever hear. We were watching Home Alone 2 on Sunday and Lance's family and some friends of ours were there. Everyone was laughing at Preston laughing at the movie.
Here are some pictures I took today after school...
I love his smile!
I like it this way, too.
That's all he'd let me take. Even though it was 4 pm, the sun was still making it difficult, being in the shade and all. It's allright. He looks great in the 2 I got.
Preston, we love you so much! You make our days better. One day mom just may die of fright from all the times you jump out and scare her, but we still love having you as part of our family.
