I'm happy now
I've been patiently (maybe) waiting for the new Harry Potter movie to come out and I finally got to see it. Heather's family threw a Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince party at her parent's house in Rexburg and I was able to go with Heather. WOW! That's all I can say. The party was incredibly fun! They went all out and I loved it. Here are some pictures and if you know the characters and food, you'll appreciate this. If not, enjoy the pictures anyway.
My invitation- it was so creative!
Here's the Great Hall. Look how cool! There are floating candles like in the movies!
Chocolate wands...

Butterbeer (apple beer, cream soda, cherry cream soda)
Look-even Fluffy was there!
There really was every flavor: Skunk (which Heather's sister Shelly was lucky enough to eat), vomit, pencil shavings, black pepper, rotten egg, earwax.
Shelley was Prof. Sprout and her baby Sophie was a mandrake (little potted plant creature)
Heather's mom Connie was Prof. Trelawny and perfect at it!
Heather (Tonks-see the pink hair?), her cousin (Luna Lovegood-look she even has radish earrings and The Quibbler magazine), me as Hermione (with Crookshanks her cat), and Heather's sister Becky as Harry Potter.

Your blog is SOOO cute! I'm glad you got to come, it was a blast! We'll have to do another one for #7 and (if I'm around - back from Denver) we'll have to do a party for the next Twilight movie!
PS are there 8 horcrux's?
That is SO awesome! Every year for Halloween in my neighborhood there is this family who puts together "Hogwarts" in their yard. They go all out...they are drama people who put on real plays so...perfect costumes, backdrops, music...it's amazing! People come from all around to see it. It's so fun to really "get into" things!
You have a lovely family! Thanks for coming by our blog!
